whats for dinner?

I’m fine with a Pineapple and Bacon Pizza and a Lava cake – but this weekend my Mom decided that we should go out to a restaurant, sit down and eat. According to Mom aka “the Queen does not cook” we need to get out more and socialise. Trust me she finds every excuse not to cook and surprise surprise this weekend was no exception.

After a huge debate we were back and forth between staying at home and ordering the usual pizza or eating at Deckers a family friendly restaurant located in West Bay. We had eaten there once before and although I really enjoyed the food, especially the all you can eat Lobster I wasn’t up to getting up, getting dressed up and being social.

Looking back at it I have to admit the all you can eat Lobster was tempting and made my mouth water a little but I really and truly wanted to stay home. We settled our differences the way we settle all our differences by doing rock, paper, scissors and my little brother won. Surprisingly and for the first time in a while we were both on the same stay at home and order a pizza page.

We ended up ordering the pizza, when it was time to go pick it up I lost out on the rock, paper, scissors challenge and had to go in to pay for it. I doubled checked the order making sure that they had included the lava cake.

While leaving the store I was thinking about how many slices I would devour and completely missed that last step tripped over my own feet and went through the emotions of shock, terror, horror and disbelief as I watched my pizza and lava cake go flying through the air and landed with a dramatic plop splatter to the ground.

I felt like a clown, my mom rolled her eyes, while my little brother shaked his head in disappointment.

“So umm Mom is Deckers all you can eat Lobster still on the table for dinner”?
